Joining - Thursday Scouts
The aim of our Scouts is to to provide youngsters with life abilities and practical skills in a challenging, but safe, environment. We let them push themselves that little bit further, overcoming that first night away, eating something they have cooked themselves and working as a team (and not even realising it). We revel in Scouts achieving their goals, as well as also providing a supportive and safe environment when they fail - giving them back the confidence to try again. The types of activities we did last year are:

Wednesday Scouts
Thursday Scouts

Our leader - Russ - has been involved in Scouting as an adult since 2008 when his eldest son joined Cubs. He has been Scouting abroad, run an Australian Cub Pack as an exchange, as well as having been Assistant Cub Scout Leader, Cub Scout Leader, Explorer Scout Leader, Group Skills Instructor, and Scout Leader. He firmly believes that if the youngsters take only one thing into adult life that they've learnt in Scouting, then we have achieved!
